Rotem has extensive metrology capabilities to meet the most stringent customer demands, offering continuous quality and consistent analysis of form, surface roughness, optical performance giving full product characterization of the products we manufacture. The sapphire products production and facility of Rotem is ISO-9001 certified since 1994, and AS9100D certified since 2020. Rotem has invested in metrology tools, equipment, and facilities to support all of our manufacturing processes and products. Specific capabilities: Spectrophotometer &  Spectrophotometer FTIR for measuring sapphire transmission from 300 to 6000nm. Zygo ZeGage pro – Optical profile non-contact surface measurement, with the capability to measure sapphire surface roughness down to the angstrom level. Zygo Verifire – A non-contact Laser Interferometer for measuring sapphire optical surface form tolerances; Flatness, Transmitted Wavefront Error (TWE), Power and Irregularity into the fractional wave level. Numerous optical comparators, high power imaging and microscope systems for physical measurement. We constantly strive to provide products and services to meet or exceed the requirements and expectations of our customers. We actively pursue ever-improving quality through programs that enable the supply of products right the first time and every time. Rigorous controls to meet all customer inspection and Certification, CofC, and other requirements. Rotem not only fully controls the process from raw material through final delivery, we fully support all deliveries with inspection and certification for full compliance.
